Our goal is not to place every dog into the same routine. Our goal is to provide the type of care that best supports each individual dog.

Our enrichment program adds structured mental, sensory and physical activities to your dog’s stay. Activities may include puzzles, snuffle mats, obstacle courses, art projects, scent activities, training games, seasonal activities and supervised pool time.

Activities vary according to the schedule, weather and each dog’s individual needs. Our goal is not to place every dog into the same routine. Our goal is to provide the type of care that best supports each individual dog.

K-9 Kountry features an outdoor heated saltwater pool where eligible dogs can enjoy supervised swimming throughout the year.

Swimming provides physical activity, mental stimulation and a refreshing change of pace during a daycare or boarding stay. A daily Swim Pass may be added for $18.

Before participating in group activities, dogs must complete the applicable Meet & Greet or temperament evaluation and meet K-9 Kountry’s health requirements.

Current records are required for:

Rabies

Bordetella

Distemper and Parvovirus

Fecal screening, including Giardia

Dogs must be at least four months old and have completed the required vaccinations.

Eligibility for group play is based on health, behavior and evaluation results. Dogs who are not eligible for group play may still qualify for private boarding.

To help us prepare properly, please provide all feeding instructions, medications and care information before arrival.

Standard checkout is by 10:00 a.m. on the scheduled departure date.

A complimentary 1.5-hour late checkout may be available upon request. Additional daycare charges apply after 12:00 p.m.

An after-hours checkout may be available for one hour after closing for a $45 fee.

For regular, non-holiday reservations, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees.

Holiday and peak-period rates may increase by up to $20 per night depending on availability. Holiday and peak-period cancellations must be made at least five days in advance to avoid fees.

Because boarding availability is limited, early reservations are strongly recommended for holidays, school breaks and peak travel periods. Please check with our team on closed Holidays.

Look for a facility that evaluates each dog individually and offers care based on the dog’s social comfort, activity level and sleeping preferences. K-9 Kountry offers four boarding styles so dogs are not forced into a one-size-fits-all environment.

Boarding starts at $59 per night for a Petite Suite. Luxury Suites start at $75 per night, and Slumber Pawty group boarding starts at $95 per night. Private boarding may be added to the selected suite rate for $10 per night.

Yes. Private boarding is available for dogs who prefer individual care or should not participate in group play. Private guests receive individual attention and private potty breaks while staying in the selected suite.

We recommend bringing your dog’s regular food, pre-portioned into individual morning and evening servings, along with two extra meals. Keeping your dog’s normal diet helps prevent stomach upset during their stay. If additional food or treats are needed, options are available in our lobby retail store.

That depends on the boarding option, evaluation results and your dog’s individual needs. Slumber Pawty guests participate in group activities, while Luxury and Petite Suite guests receive scheduled group-play sessions if eligible. Private boarding does not include group play.

Yes. Eligible boarding guests may add supervised swimming in our heated outdoor saltwater pool. The pool is available throughout the year, subject to scheduling and appropriate conditions.
